Deejay KO was born and bred in Brooklyn mid to late 70's. Growing up in the hard scrabble neighborhood of BENSONHURST and SUNSET PARK / Brooklyn. He was immersed in music and grafitti culture. A music buff from a young age, he quickly grew into a force to be reckoned with. Battling dj's at small venues all over Brooklyn & Manhattan. It became clear to those around him, what his ability was . In 1994 land his first big gig playing hip hop and funk at ny infamous "the Limelight "famous Shampoo room. As his notoriety grew he was booked to open for Hex Hector Cassanova and Glen Friscia at world famous Palladium night club where he went on to become a resident dj. DeeJay KO proved his versatility by playing perfectly blended house music and taking it out with hip-hop and reggae. After nyc police untimely forced closings of Limelight and Palladium Deejay KO went on to spin every major venue in nyc clubs EXIT,MIRAGE,SOUND FACTORY,SYSTEM,ORIGINAL china club ect....then in Cancun from 1997-2004 spring break mtv's after partys aswell as artist shows like LUDACRISS, JA RULE, SNOOP DOG,EVE,SHAGGY ect. In the miths of all this k.o. still maintained his ny club status in club Expo where he quickly became a resident dj. His ability to tear it up on the tables with a combination of beat juggling and scratching was becoming recognized far and wide. From 2002-2005 Deejay KO started working closely in the studio with Donnie Keyz, Epiphany and The Shark. also Hand picked by Swiss beats to help promote his album doin in-stores around NYC. DJ K.O. is a full package and has a lot of musical treats every time he spins, with high energy music that ranges from old 60's breaks to unheard house songs..... from ny to italy DJ K.O.
